Ingredients
1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
3 large eggs
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
1 cup chopped pecans
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) melted butter
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, eggs, granulated sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and salt until smooth.
3. Pour pumpkin mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
4. Sprinkle cake mix evenly over the pumpkin layer. Do not stir.
5. Top with chopped pecans.
6. Drizzle melted butter evenly over the surface, covering as much of the cake mix as possible.
