Ingredients
450g ground beef
60g breadcrumbs
1 large egg
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
3 tablespoons ketchup (plus extra for topping)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
85g cheddar cheese, cubed
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a muffin tin.
2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
3. Take a portion of the meat mixture, flatten it in your hand, and place a cube of cheddar in the center. Wrap the meat around the cheese to form a ball and place it into the muffin tin.
4. Top each bite with a small spoonful of ketchup.
5. Bake for 20–25 minutes, until the tops are browned and caramelized.
6. Let rest a few minutes, then garnish with parsley and serve warm.
