Ingredients
16 oz cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese
1 oz taco seasoning mix (1 packet)
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
1/2 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
1 cup crushed nacho cheese or taco-flavored chips
1/2 cup shredded cheddar (for garnish)
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1/4 cup diced tomatoes
optional sliced jalapeños
tortilla chips or crackers for serving
Instructions
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheddar, pepper jack, taco seasoning, sour cream, green onions, and bell pepper. Mix well until smooth.
2. Lay a piece of plastic wrap on a flat surface. Scoop the mixture onto the wrap and form into a wreath shape using hands or a round mold in the center.
3. Wrap tightly and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight until firm.
4. Unwrap and gently roll the cheese wreath in crushed nacho chips to coat the outside evenly.
5. Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with extra shredded cheddar, tomatoes, cilantro, and jalapeños.
6. Surround the wreath with tortilla chips or crackers and serve chilled or room temperature.
Notes
Make sure the cream cheese is softened for easy mixing.
For extra crunch, don’t add toppings until just before serving.
