Ingredients
4 cups cinnamon rolls or sweet bread, cubed
4 large eggs
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
1. Cut your cinnamon rolls or sweet bread into bite-sized cubes. If they’re fresh, lightly toast them in the oven to dry them out a bit.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.
3. Add the cubed bread to a greased baking dish. Pour custard over the bread, pressing gently to soak. Let sit for 15–20 minutes.
4. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes, until golden and set.
5. Mix powdered sugar with milk to create glaze. Drizzle over warm pudding and serve.
Notes
Let your bread sit out to dry for a few hours if it’s too fresh.
Don’t skip soaking time — it helps the custard absorb evenly.
For extra indulgence, top with caramel sauce or vanilla ice cream.
