Ingredients

20 large green olives (pitted)

8 oz cream cheese (softened)

1/2 cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)

1/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese (optional)

1/2 tsp garlic powder or 1 tbsp chopped fresh herbs (like chives or parsley)

20 small rosemary sprigs (optional garnish)

20 toothpicks


Instructions

1. In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with shredded cheese and garlic powder or fresh herbs until smooth.

2. Drain and pat dry the olives with paper towels to remove moisture.

3. Scoop about a teaspoon of the cheese mixture and flatten it in your palm. Place an olive in the center and wrap the cheese mixture around it, forming a ball.

4. Roll each cheese ball in the finely chopped nuts until fully coated.

5. Place the finished wrapped olives on a tray and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
