Ingredients
1 lb chicken breast, sliced
to taste salt & black pepper
2 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
1/2 cup heavy cream
12 oz cooked rotini pasta
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
1. Season chicken strips with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken until golden and fully cooked, about 6–7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
2. In the same skillet, add bell peppers and cook for 4–5 minutes until softened. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
3. Lower heat to medium. Add honey, soy sauce, and black pepper. Simmer for 2 minutes. Return chicken and toss to coat.
4. Pour in heavy cream and stir to combine. Simmer for 3 more minutes until slightly thickened.
5. Add cooked rotini pasta and toss everything together until well combined.
6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
Make sure not to overcook the bell peppers; keep them slightly crisp for texture.
Use freshly ground black pepper for the best flavor.
Add chili flakes if you want to increase the heat.
