Description

Looking for a quick dinner that everyone will love? This Impossible Cheeseburger Pie is the ultimate weeknight winner. It combines juicy ground beef, sharp cheddar cheese, and a light Bisquick crust that “magically” rises as it bakes. With minimal prep and simple ingredients, this dish is perfect for busy families, picky eaters, or anyone craving a cheesy, satisfying comfort meal. Whether you need quick breakfast options, dinner ideas, or easy recipe inspiration—this one has you covered.

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup Bisquick mix

1 cup milk

2 large eggs

1/2 cup diced tomatoes (optional, for garnish)

2 tablespoons chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until browned. Drain excess fat. Season with salt and pepper.

2. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a 9-inch pie plate.

3. Spread the cooked beef and onion evenly in the prepared pie plate. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top.

4. In a medium bowl, whisk together Bisquick mix, milk, and eggs until smooth.

5. Pour the batter over the beef and cheese layer in the pie plate.

6. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until golden and a knife inserted comes out clean.

7. Let cool slightly. Garnish with tomatoes and parsley if desired. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

Let the pie cool for 5–10 minutes before slicing for cleaner cuts.

For extra flavor, mix in a dash of Worcestershire sauce or garlic powder with the beef.

Store leftovers covered in the fridge and reheat gently in the microwave or oven.
