Ingredients

2 ½ cups cooked shredded chicken

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup sour cream

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided

1 ½ cups crushed Ritz crackers or toasted bread cubes

4 tablespoons melted butter

Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.

3. Fold in the shredded chicken and half the cheddar cheese.

4. Spread the mixture evenly into the baking dish.

5. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top.

6. In a separate bowl, combine crushed Ritz crackers (or bread cubes) with melted butter.

7. Spread the topping evenly over the casserole.

8. Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, until golden and bubbly.

9. Let cool for 5 minutes, then garnish with parsley if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

For a shortcut, use rotisserie chicken for added flavor and convenience.

Want extra texture? Mix in some cooked veggies like peas or mushrooms.

Don’t skip the buttery topping — it’s what makes it truly “million dollar”!
