With melty mozzarella, zesty pizza sauce, and golden baked tortillas, this fun mash-up is ideal for quick dinner ideas, kid-friendly lunches, game-day snacks, or anytime you’re craving a cozy, easy recipe that tastes like takeout but comes straight from your own kitchen.

Ingredients

8 large flour tortillas

1 1/2 cups pizza sauce plus extra for dipping

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

6 ounces sliced pepperoni

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese plus extra for topping

3 tablespoons melted butter or olive oil

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes optional

1 cup warm marinara or pizza sauce for serving

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F 200°C and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

2. Warm the flour tortillas in the microwave for 20 to 30 seconds until soft and pliable so they will roll without cracking.

3. Lay one warm tortilla on a flat surface and spread about 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce down the center leaving a small border around the edges.

4. Sprinkle roughly 1/4 cup mozzarella and a tablespoon of cheddar over the sauce then arrange a single layer of pepperoni slices on top and add a small pinch of Parmesan.

5. Fold the sides of the tortilla toward the center then roll it up tightly from the bottom to the top to form a burrito and place it seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.

6. Repeat filling and rolling with the remaining tortillas and ingredients arranging all the burritos seam side down on the pan.

7. In a small bowl stir together the melted butter or olive oil Italian seasoning garlic powder and crushed red pepper flakes if using.

8. Brush the seasoned butter mixture over the tops of the burritos then sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese.

9. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until the tortillas are golden brown and crisp on the edges and the cheese inside is melted and bubbly.

10. Warm the extra pizza or marinara sauce and serve the hot Pizza Burritos with the warm sauce for dipping and any extra Parmesan or fresh basil you like.

Notes

Warm the tortillas before filling so they roll easily and do not crack in the oven.

Avoid overfilling with sauce or very wet toppings to keep the burritos from becoming soggy.

For freezer meal prep bake the burritos cool completely wrap tightly and freeze for up to 2 months then reheat in the oven or air fryer until hot and crisp.
