Ingredients
1 small cantaloupe, peeled and cubed or balled
1 small honeydew, peeled and cubed or balled
8 slices prosciutto, folded or cut into halves
8 fresh mozzarella balls (ciliegine)
16 fresh mint leaves
1 tablespoon balsamic glaze (optional)
8 bamboo skewers
Instructions
1. Cut the cantaloupe and honeydew into bite-sized cubes or use a melon baller.
2. On each skewer, thread cantaloupe, honeydew, a folded slice of prosciutto, and a mozzarella ball, repeating as needed.
3. Tuck fresh mint leaves between the ingredients.
4. Optional: Drizzle with balsamic glaze for extra flavor.
5. Arrange on a platter and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
Make sure to use ripe melon for the best sweetness and texture.
Don’t drizzle the balsamic glaze until just before serving to keep the skewers fresh.
If using larger skewers, double up on the melon and prosciutto for a fuller appetizer.
