Description

Get ready for the ultimate no-bake holiday hit with these Reindeer Poop Treats—a cheeky, chocolatey, and super easy recipe that kids love to make and everyone loves to eat. Perfect for holiday parties, edible gifts, or just a fun kitchen project, these little clusters are made with melted chocolate, peanut butter, rice cereal, and marshmallows, then dusted with “snow” (powdered sugar!). It’s a fun and festive easy dessert recipe idea, ideal for Christmas snack boards, holiday food gifts, or quick sweet treats when time is tight.

Ingredients

3 cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk)

1 cup creamy peanut butter

2 cups crispy rice cereal

1 cup mini marshmallows

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

1. In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and peanut butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth (about 1.5 minutes total).

2. Stir in vanilla extract and salt. Mix thoroughly.

3. Fold in crispy rice cereal and mini marshmallows until everything is evenly coated.

4. Drop tablespoons of the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet to form clusters.

5. Chill in the fridge for 20 minutes to firm up.

6. Once set, dust generously with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Be sure to use fresh marshmallows; stale ones don’t melt as well.

Don’t overheat the chocolate—microwave in intervals to prevent seizing.

You can add crushed pretzels or chopped nuts for extra crunch.
