Description

Turn your Halloween dinner into a monster mash with this spooky spaghetti and cheesy monster meatballs recipe. It’s a fun and easy dinner idea perfect for Halloween night, featuring tender meatballs transformed into spooky characters with melty mozzarella and olive eyes. This easy recipe is a festive twist on classic spaghetti and meatballs, making it a go-to food idea for themed family dinners, quick holiday meals, or party-ready Halloween dinners.

Ingredients

1 pound spaghetti

8 large cooked meatballs

2 cups marinara sauce

1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

16 sliced black olives

1 tablespoon olive oil

Fresh parsley (optional)

Salt to taste

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and toss with olive oil.

2. In a large skillet or saucepan, heat the marinara sauce over medium heat. Add the meatballs and simmer for 8-10 minutes until heated through.

3. Plate the spaghetti into 8 small nests on a large serving dish.

4. Place one meatball in the center of each nest.

5. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top of each meatball to resemble monster hair.

6. Top each meatball with two olive slices to create eyes. Optionally, use tiny mozzarella pieces under olives.

7. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

For extra spooky presentation, use food-safe candy eyes instead of olives.

You can use any type of meatballs—beef, chicken, or plant-based.

Serve immediately after assembly to keep the cheese melty and fresh.
