Ingredients

2 pounds chicken wings, split into flats and drumettes

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

3/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons melted butter

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

2 tablespoons extra grated Parmesan cheese for finishing


Instructions

1. Pat the chicken wings very dry with paper towels and place them in a large bowl.

2. Drizzle the wings with olive oil, then add garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.

3. Toss until the wings are evenly coated with seasoning.

4. In a shallow bowl, mix grated Parmesan cheese and panko breadcrumbs.

5. Press each wing into the Parmesan-panko mixture until well coated.

6. Preheat the air fryer to 390°F for 3 minutes.

7. Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each piece.

8. Air fry for 20 to 24 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden, crisp, and cooked through.

9. Brush the hot wings with melted butter, then sprinkle with extra Parmesan and chopped parsley.

Notes
