Ingredients

3/4 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup peanut butter chips


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

3. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and creamy.

4. Add the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract until smooth.

5. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until a soft dough forms.

6. Fold in the chocolate chips and peanut butter chips evenly throughout the dough.

7. Scoop the dough into balls and place them on the prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.

8. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden and the centers are still soft.

9. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Use room temperature butter for a smoother dough and better texture.

Do not overbake the cookies if you want soft centers.

Press a few extra chips on top of each dough ball before baking for a bakery-style finish.
