Ingredients
2 pounds frozen fully cooked meatballs
12 ounces chili sauce
1 cup grape jelly
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, optional
Instructions
1. Add the chili sauce, grape jelly, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to the crockpot.
2. Stir the sauce ingredients together until mostly combined.
3. Add the frozen fully cooked meatballs to the crockpot.
4. Gently stir until the meatballs are coated in sauce.
5. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or on high for 2 hours, stirring once halfway through.
6. Remove the lid for the last 15 to 20 minutes if you want the sauce slightly thicker.
7. Switch the crockpot to warm and serve as an appetizer, over rice, with mashed potatoes, or in slider rolls.
Notes
Use fully cooked frozen meatballs for the easiest version and the best texture in the slow cooker.
For a spicier sauce, add extra red pepper flakes or a spoonful of hot sauce.
If the sauce gets too thick while warming, stir in 1 to 2 tablespoons of water or broth until smooth.
