Description

These Fudgy Football Brownies are the ultimate game day dessert, made with rich chocolate brownie batter, cut into playful football shapes, and finished with easy white icing laces. This easy recipe is perfect for Super Bowl snacks, party food ideas, dessert ideas, quick baking, kid-friendly treats, tailgate desserts, and fun homemade brownies that look festive without requiring complicated decorating.

Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup light brown sugar, packed

4 large eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup white decorating icing

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper. Lightly grease the parchment.

2. Whisk melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a large bowl until smooth.

3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, then whisk until thick and fully combined.

4. Sift in cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Stir gently until no dry streaks remain.

5. Fold in the chocolate chips.

6. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.

7. Bake for 24 to 28 minutes, or until the edges are set and a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.

8. Cool completely, then chill for 30 minutes for cleaner cutting.

9. Lift the brownies from the pan and cut into football shapes using a cutter or sharp knife.

10. Pipe white icing lines and laces onto each brownie.

11. Let the icing set for 10 to 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Chill the brownies before cutting so the football shapes come out cleaner and the edges stay neat.

Do not overbake the brownies; a toothpick should come out with moist crumbs for the best fudgy texture.

Use a small piping tip or a zip-top bag with a tiny corner snipped off for neat football laces.
