Ingredients
8 oz cream cheese, softened
8 oz Cool Whip, thawed
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup rainbow sprinkles
3 tablespoons yellow cake mix, heat-treated
Instructions
1. Let the cream cheese soften at room temperature. Heat-treat the cake mix in the microwave for 30-60 seconds until it reaches 165°F.
2. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy.
3. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
4. Mix in the heat-treated yellow cake mix until fully combined.
5. Fold in Cool Whip gently until the dip is smooth and airy.
6. Fold in most of the rainbow sprinkles, reserving a few for garnish.
7. Chill the dip for at least 15 minutes. Serve with cookies, fruit, or crackers.
Notes
Use jimmies sprinkles (not nonpareils) to avoid color bleeding.
