Ingredients
1 cup boiling water
1 package strawberry or raspberry flavored gelatin, 3 ounces
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 cup vodka
Candy eyes, as needed
Black decorating gel, as needed
Nonstick cooking spray, light coating for molds
Instructions
1. Lightly coat silicone ghost molds or small molds with nonstick cooking spray and place them on a tray.
2. Add the flavored gelatin to a mixing bowl and pour in the boiling water. Whisk until completely dissolved.
3. Stir in the cold water and vodka until fully combined.
4. Carefully pour the mixture into the prepared molds.
5. Transfer the tray to the refrigerator and chill for 2 to 4 hours, or until the jello shots are fully set.
6. Gently remove the Halloween Jello Shots from the molds.
7. Decorate each one with candy eyes and black decorating gel to create ghost faces.
8. Serve chilled.
Notes
Use boiling water only for dissolving the gelatin fully so the texture stays smooth and glossy.
Do not add more alcohol than listed or the Halloween Jello Shots may not set properly.
Decorate after unmolding and keep chilled until serving for the cleanest look.
