Ingredients

24 mini pretzels

24 soft caramel candies

1 tablespoon heavy cream

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 teaspoon coconut oil

1 teaspoon flaky sea salt

2 tablespoons crushed pretzels


Instructions

1. Line a tray or plate with parchment paper.

2. Arrange 12 mini pretzels on the tray to make the bottom layer.

3. Add the caramel candies and heavy cream to a microwave-safe bowl.

4. Microwave in short bursts, stirring between each, until the caramel is smooth.

5. Spoon a small amount of melted caramel onto each pretzel base.

6. Top each one with another pretzel and gently press to make sandwiches.

7. Chill the pretzel sandwiches for 15 to 20 minutes until firm.

8. Add the chocolate chips and coconut oil to a microwave-safe bowl.

9. Melt in short intervals, stirring until smooth and glossy.

10. Dip the top half of each bite into the melted chocolate or spoon chocolate over the tops.

11. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt and crushed pretzels while the chocolate is still soft.

12. Chill again until the chocolate is fully set, then serve or store.

Notes

Chill the caramel sandwiches before adding chocolate so they hold their shape better.

Use flaky sea salt instead of fine salt for the best texture and balanced finish.
